Description

I am a qualified Psychotherapist and I believe in the uniqueness of all individuals. My counselling approach is called Person-Centred Therapy which is a humanistic style to counselling. The approach endeavours to see the world through the eyes of the clients. It is about gaining an understanding of how an individual perceives and interprets events rather than the therapist being the expert. My belief is that the client has the answers to their issues, however, these issues may be difficult to accept and understand due to various psychological blockages which can prevent a greater understanding of them. As one of my clients, I will seek to help you explore the thoughts or feelings that are troubling you while supporting you in an empathic and non-judgmental way. This is done while helping you to connect to the immediacy of your own experience.
